My great-great-grandmother was Marium Hunter Carpenter born 14 Sep 1839 in
Franklin or Franklin Co., VA to John T. Hunter b. ca 1794 in VA and died BEF
5 Mar 1866 in Madison Co., KY. He married Elizabeth Buster 15 Mar 1814 in
Madison Co., KY. John T.'s father was John P. Hunter b ca 1761 prob in VA
and died 27 Sep 1842 in Madison Co., KY. He married Ruth Gennett possibly
in Fluvania Co., VA per John P.'s Rev War Pension records. John P's father
was Samuel Hunter per a document in Madison Co., KY. I need more info on
these Hunters as I believe them to be from the Goochland Co., VA area.
