I'm working from paper notes....all about 20 years old! ...possible source
Margaret Templeton ..who agreed with me (when I saw her on Thursday) about
the likelyhood of my David being the son of John H and his second wife
Margaret Wallace and that John was likely to have been the son of John H and
Mary White. I have got John H marrying Margaret Wallace in 1730 in Fenwick
entry reads - 25 June 1730 John Howie, Drumtee and Margaret Wallace,
daughter of James Wallace, Hemphill.

Margaret T. had a date of death for the first Margaret Wallace in 1741 ..we
think that John re-married in 1748 in Stewarton to a second Margaret Wallace
......but I need to look at the OPR entry. However it looks fairly certain
since the children are born in Drumcloich from 1732 up until 1759.

As for the John H and Mary White family ...... I've just printed off the
family from the familysearch site and it has got John's b 6 Jan 1707 not 1709
as I had. Again it needs to be checked.

I'll get back to you when I've done some checking.

Irene
