Hi Folks,

Happy holidays to all of you. I have a question about Fulton Honaker b abt
1856 that I hope some of you can solve. As you know, West Virginia has put
death certificates online. I found the death certificate for Benjamin F.
Honaker who has a wife Emma Z. Dillon.

Name: Benjamine F./Honaker
Death Date: 09 Jan 1929
Death Place: Huntington, Cabell, West Virginia
Age at Death: 72y 5m 13d
Birth Date: 26 Jul 1856
Birth Place: Greenup Co., KY
Marital Status: married
Spouse: Emma Z./Dillon
Occupation: Carpenter
Mother: M./Cumpton
Mother's Birth Place: McGlothen Co., KY
Father: Henry/Honaker
Father's Birth Place: McGlothen Co., KY
Informant: E. B. Honaker

I assume this is the Emazetta Dillon I have in my database. I only had the
husband as Fulton B. Honaker. I checked Frieda's web site and found:

m. Dillon, Emma Z

Both Frieda and I have his parents and Henry S. Honaker and Mary Jane
Alford. The death certificate has his parents as Henry Honaker and Mary Cumpton
(Compton?). They give the birthplace for the parents and Henry as Kentucky
(Greenup and McGlothlen counties). I know there is a Henry Honaker married to
Mary Compton. He is s/o Martin Honaker and Mary Long and they have a son
Benjamin Franklin Honaker. He is born 1852 from what I have found. I have this
note for Benjamin Franklin:

Culloden Cem., Cabell Co., WV:
HONAKER, Benjamin F. 1852-1928 (Franklin, b. Russell Co., Va, s/o Henry &
Mary A. Honaker)
Emmazetta 1865-1941

It appears we have some confusion and may have mixed up a couple of Henry
Honakers. I'd appreciate some input here. Thanks a lot.
