Reposting my interests in Harriet Hollins, father Thomas, born 1846 in
Silverdale Staffordshire. She married a William Evans around 1864. It is
possible she was from a catholic family but for whatever reason William
Evans was not approved of by the family and they emigrated to Australia.
Family history is confused but abounds with variants of the Evans families
religous ways. He may have been Jewish or maybe just not catholic. Either
way we have not been able to track down his or her parents.
Does anyone know of these two, their families or could recommend a way to
proceed.
