Hi Patience!
Glad to see your post to our new list. Since it is only
about 4 hours old though, and there are only three of us on
the list so far, you'll probably want to post this again in
about a week. Thereafter, a reposting of about every three
or four months is a good idea to catch all of the new
subscribers.
I can't speak for HOLDERFIELDs myself since I descend from
HOLIFIELDs and any connection between the two probably
occured in Europe before the family immigrated here. I have
heard of other HODERFIELDs already on the list, so your post
may not be entirely in vain. Besides, everything you post
gets archived at Rootsweb and will be searchable by the
public for the rest of forever.
