My ggrandad Edward Ethelbert HILLS b.c.1860 married
Alice GAZZARD b.1864 Kelvedon,Ess.
Their children were all born Islington, Essex.
Laura (died in a fire when she was 13-16yrs old)
Ted m. Elsie HOWSON
Alice m. Percy MAYNARD
Ada Elizabeth b.1896 m. William Edward Nelson
b.1889 (my grandparents)
Lottie m. Phillip BROWN
Earnest m. Rose
Robert d. 3rd Dec 1917 (while in Navy, First
World War)

My mother has told me she remembers an Aunt May and
Aunt Sylvie and that they could have been Edward’s
sisters.
