Hi all,

I am looking for any information on Joseph (Hill) HEYWOOD

Joseph married Eliza WAUGH in Rochdale, Lancashire in 1836, stating that he
was a native of this parish.

In 1841 Joseph and Eliza immigrated to Melbourne, Australia where Joseph
worked as a Blacksmith, Miller, Sawyer, storekeeper and labourer.

In 1851 Joseph is reputed to have gone to the Californian Goldfields and his
family in Australia never heard from him again.

If anyone has any information on Joseph I would appreciate hearing from
them.
