Hi Listers,

Came across this Herbert family in the 1865 NY State Census, Kings Co.,
Brooklyn, 18th Ward while transcribing Smiths:

Pg. 43 of Geo. Baldwin's enumeration (part of the 18th Ward)dated June 30,
1865
Dwelling # 223, Family #286 in order of visitation
Wm. Herbert, age 23 b. NY County, marr. one time, marr., milkman, native
Eliz. Herbert, wife, age 17, b. Queens County, parent of one child, married
one time, married
Jacob Herbert, son, age 8 months, b. Kings County, single


Hope this family fits into someone's tree. (No relation to my Herbert
family.)
