I am reseraching John Hedrickson that married Sarah Hardin too. I researched all the early tax records in Washington County, Kentucky and beleive that John was born about 1778. He had a brother William born 1780 in Pennsylvania, William married Virginia Jane Kemp at Hardin County Kentucky in 1807. Both John and Wiliam appear on the early tax records in Hardin County Kentucky. About 1817 both men along with their large families moved to Dubois County, Indiana and are listed on the 1820 census with a wife and (9) children each. By 1830 only Wiliam is still listed on the census in Dubois County, Indiana John is not listed.

There is also some sort of relationship to Leonard Hendrickson in Washington County, Kentucky, he may be the father of John and William.

I have a good deal of research information on the descendants of William.
