Hi Liz,
I looked further at the Carlow site and came up with other children for Thomas Ryan and Mary Handrick. Most were baptized in Tinnacarrig.
10 Dec 1843 John
1845 Bridget(previously sent)
27 Feb 1848 Judith
15 July 1849 Mick
8 Feb 1852 James

It looks as if there is also a connection with a Judith Hanrick married to John Neil. They were having children at the same time and were sponsors for each other.
