From what i understand from Tom Helms, it is a fact. He said to me this
morning that the Helms data will now continue over to Arkansas and some of
their families. Who knows what will be added or taken away or what ever. NO
one at this time can prove you wrong Joy about Emanuel's son William Jasper
Helms. NO one. I've busted my ass to find just one person to debunk our
findings. NO one can. So with out further documentation to say different, I
guess they have to except our findings. More you than me but i was the guy
trying to disprove your thoughts. I can't. They can't. Hummmm. I love it.
They have all been just wonderful but it was hard getting into this family
and their past and they protected it big time. Thats a good thing. I know
I've been the same way kina of making sure of things before i open my big
mouth. I still have reservations but i just can't disprove or prove any more
than what we found or have so, it is what it is. In my own thoughts of my
relatives back to William Jasper Helms, I'm solid with any and all
documentation that any one would need to verify things. But once again, I'm
just lacking something, anything, that says Jaspers dad is Emanuel. Thats
the truth and thats what is lacking. I know in my heart that some sort of
documentation is out there but at this time, i don't know how to find it or
even know where to go to find it. I've exhausted my self of thoughts on
this. I know you've done the same and also with your people and family. Some
times it just goes that way i guess. I hate lose ends.

After talking to many, many people the same question keeps coming up Joy.
The 1880 census. Sharp county on Jaspers family. It says His dad was born in
VA. and his mom was from TN. Thats a biggy. It should have said N.C. and
N.C. for his parents. Then later down the road in 1900 and be on the
censuses say he didn't know or they came from Ohio. That sucks. Why would he
say that or his wife or his kids. Some one had to say that to the census
taker. So that 1880 census just keeps coming around to bite me on the butt.

Glad you liked the mail this morning. Have a good day. Hope all is well
there. How was the storms in your area ??. Ken :)
