Thanks a lot for the Abel HELMS information. Actually, I've been trying to
put my finger on this Mary Jane Boswell who married Abel Helms. So far no
luck, but the information on Abel should help in my quest. (I have two other
Boswell relatives who married Helms men. (1) William A. Helms (b. 16 May
1846), son of Miles (Milus) and Cordelia Frances Brown Helms, Sr.) married
Sarah Frances Boswell (b. 9 Oct 1848) in Talbot County, GA 7 Jul 1867 and
(2) Leander J. Helms (b. abt. 1848), perhaps also the son of Miles (Milus)
and Cordelia Frances Brown Helms, Sr.) married Sophia Louisa Boswell (b.21
Sep 1852) in Talbot County, GA 22 Dec 1868. (Sarah Frances and Sophia Louisa
were both daughters of George and Caroline Bates Boswell.)

Note. Leander J. Helms married a second time to an unknown Laura after the
death of his first wife on 19 Jul 1876.
