Hello - The NY Haucks in my family were headed by John Adam Hauck, Born in Sulsheim, Hessia, Germany in 1830. He immigrated to New York City in ca. 1848, married Anna Ramseier in 1857. They had a son, John DB = 1865,a daughter, Amelia DB = 1866, a son, August DB = 1867, a daughter Francisca Rosine, DB = 1870, & a son, William DB = 1871. As far as I have learned, all lived & died in Manhattan. Ken Brauner
