Hello,

Caught a little break right now and thought I would try to answer some of the
request, but when I saw all the wonderful messages from all of you, it over
whelms me and fills me with love and pride for the many blessings that God
has bestowed on Little Lawrence and Me. God has given us so many wonderful
and Prayerful friends out there. We can't thank you all enough.

Yes, please share him with your prayer groups, churches, or prayer lists. I
am a firm believer in the great power of prayer. It is God and the many
prayers that have gotten Lawrence to 6 years old, to talking, to walking. The
many doctors that he had at his birth said he would not live to be one month
old, that he would never talk, never walk and a very good chance that he
would be retarded.
Well, he talks, he really started when he was 4 years old, and thank God, he
has never stopped. He scooted on his bottom, never crawled, just scooted
everywhere. Then he walked just after his second birthday. He has been being
taught since he was 10 months old. That is when he got his first home
teacher. He was taught sign language, still uses it when he isn't understood
and that is only if he isn't angry or frustrated at not being understood. He
is so cute. Sandy Goodspeed has seen pictures of him. Bobbie Lewallen has a
web site and has included Lawrence there. I really need to up date the
pictures that she has. She is one sweet Lady.

Just checked on Lawrence (Our Little Tornado) and yes, that is his nick name.
The (Our) is for all the people that have prayed for him and those prayers
have been answered. Little is because he was only 12 inches at birth,
Tornado, because he is strong and powerful and as he grew and got scooting
around, what a shambles he made out of the house. (Smiling.) I love him so
much and so does God.
He is in his little toddler bed watching the movie "Baby's Day Out," he
really enjoys this film and gets the biggest kick out of all the things the
baby does and all the trouble the men get into. Does this old heart good to
hear him laugh.

Will close now, getting close to another breathing treatment. Thank you all
over and over again.

If you need his full name for prayers, it's Lawrence Cain EDWARDS Brizuela.
EDWARDS is my maiden name. Nice way to keep it going is to include it in the
grandchildren's name. Sure helps us researchers. (Smiling.)
