My grandfather Peter Mihailovich Sokolov was born in Harbin in 1903. He
lived there until 1914 and returned there for a while in 1923 or 1924.
Then he moved to Shanghai and from there to Yugoslavia. In years between
1914 and 1923 he lived in Alekseevsk (renamed Svobodny) and Vladivostok
(as member of the Habarovsk cadets corpus).
His sister Nina Mihailovna Sokolova emigrated to U.S.A. and they kept in
touch until his death in second world war. Then all contacts with her
were lost as his children were too young at that time and they had
previously lost their mother, too.
I would like to find informations about any relatives or roots anywhere
in the world.
