I live in Darlington, WI. My granddaughter if relate to Jameson Hamilton. I have a bit more of info that I can't get paste to work here. Email me and I will send it to you from my email.

Jamison (Jameson) (Jemison) Hamilton
b. 1793? Pennsylvania (taken from the 1860 Washington census, he was age 67) He came to Mineral Point, WI, Willow Springs, in summer of 1837, bought land in the area 5 Jan 1841 (land record in Mineral Point, WI. He bought land in Darlington on 1 April 1848 from his son-in-law Samuel Davis (see Rebecca below). In 1851, the first religious service in Darlington was held in Jamison Hamilton's barn. He left with his family, including Rotheus and his son Sylvester, in 1853 for California, came back to Wisconsin within the next couple of years and left for Washington, arriving there in 1857.

The above list of children was taken from the 1850 Census, Wis Lafayette Co. Towne of Centre.
In 1853 the family moved to California.
There is a Thomas Hamilton, b. 24 Jul 1866, Chehalis, Lewis, Washington, d. 9 Jul 1958, possibly a grandson of Jamison Hamilton.
