Hi Carol,
Thank you for the reply. It's always exciting to meet a distant relative! I have only recently started researching my Hamiltons. The 1850 Perry Co, OH census indicates a Sarah Hamilton, age 56, living in the household with Owen Hamilton. I wonder if this is his mother.
