Just wanted to let folks know I'm still hunting for Josiah Rhodes, perhaps Josiah Victor Rhodes, who married what must be a granddaughter of Alexander Hamilton. Josiah was born in WV or PA, but supposedly moved to OH or KY.
His daughter, Anna Belle was my g-grandmother. She married Samuel T. Kenyon, son of Daniel Kenyon and Rebecca Zornes. Josiah Rhodes may have had the initial C. for Carpenter, but the family bible I have reads as "Josiah V. Rhodes." Another daughter of his, Nannie H. (for Hamilton) Rhodes married Francis Baker Trussell. I have some writings by F.B. Trussell and his brother, Mandley. I finally paid for Ancestry.com which has helped with some lines, but I'm again hitting a brick wall verifying the parents of my g-grandmother Anna Belle Rhodes and how they descend from
Alexander Hamilton. Please note the email address is
