I am looking for information or parents of William Bruis Hamilton born abt. 1800 in Pa. and died 1885 in Appanoose Co, Iowa. He married Rebecca Longfellow(I don't have any information on her) and later married Ann Pepperdine. He is said to have been bound out at the age of 18 months. I would like to know who to and why. I don't know where to look. I have some information from his later life from census but no notes. I have a list of his children. His son William B. Hamilton, Jr. is my direct line. Any help or advice is appreciated.
