Does anyone know anything about Alexander Hamilton born 1844? He changed his surname from Hammons to Hamilton after the Civil War. He may have settled in Maryland. He was the son of my gg grandparents James Kinchen Hammons and Priscilla Jane Gray Hammons. He may have had a daughter, name unknown. Please contact me at Linda
