John Hamilton was Rev. John Hamilton. He and his wife Letecia (Short), left Ireland a year or so after John b. 1744 was born. Rev. John becomes the head of a Parrish in MD. Letecia dies and he remarries and has 3-4 more children. His son John b.1744 marries Catherine M. Forrester (Daughter of Rev. Wm. Forrester), they evidently move to Bucks Co., PA (after both Rev John Hamilton and Rev. Forrester die).
I have names dates and original sources for those who are interested. I researched them vigorously for awhile.
