I am looking for the parents of a Stephen C. Hamilton born Darlington District S.C. 9-9-1811and married a Jeannet ? born Cumberland Co. NC . One of their children, my great great grandfather, Archibald Brown was born 1-20-1833 in NC. Does this ring a bell or any connection? I have info on descendents that were in Macon Co. AL now Nashville Tn., and Chicgo.
