Howdy,

Still looking for father of Bluford Hamilton of Madison County, KY. He
was born somewhere around 1810 in KY and I think he died after 1870, but
maybe before 1880 becuase I can't find him in 1880.

One online source believes father of Bluford to be Thomas Hamilton.
Ruth Moran at Rootsweb site posted the following: "In 1829 Thomas,
Lydia, and their children moved first to Lawrence Co, Indiana and then
following Thomas' death Lydia and family moved to Orange County
Indiana." Bluford, however, shows up in the 1850 census living in
Madison County, KY.

An ancestral file at http://www.familysearch.org lists children of
Thomas Hamilton as:
i. ANDREW6 HAMILTON, b. 1801.
ii. JAMES HAMILTON, b. 1803.
iii. WILLIAM HAMILTON, b. 1807.
iv. BLUFORD HAMILTON, b. 1810.
v. STEPHEN HAMILTON, b. 1812.
vi. IRVINE HAMILTON, b. 1814.
vii. PAULINA HAMILTON, b. 1816.
viii. FRANKLIN HAMILTON, b. 1818.
ix. ZERILDA HAMILTON, b. 1820.
x. EMSLEY HAMILTON, b. 1822.
xi. HENRY HAMILTON, b. 1824.
xii. LUCY HAMILTON, b. 1824.

The problem is I have found no proof. Does anyone have a will or any
document in their possession about Thomas Hamilton or Bluford Hamilton.
