The Hamilton's, Logan's, and Smiths were close both in TN

> Have you come across a RUFUS LOGAN HAMILTON (could have
been spelled RUFFUS). He was born in Tennessee around 1855.
I found him on the 1900 Texas (Cherokee county). His age
was listed as 45 and born in TN. His wife's name was Mary
Jane, 48yrs, born in Miss. My grandfather was their
youngest son, Charlie Lee HAMILTON, b March1895, in Texas.
I'm hoping that "Logan" could be a family name and might be
tied in with your search. I have slammed into a brick wall
on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
