In my searches, Sparks, Hinton, Scott, Williams split at MD and went over the hills
with D. Boone and the others went south thru Carolinas to GA; then, across to
AL; THEN, AR; then, IT/OK & TX...................but my James W. Hamilton
b. 1827 left IRL in 1848, potato famine or cause he was 20 and adventurous,
went into NY. The next sighting was in 1861 he joins the confederacy out of
Little Rock AR. After the war he m. in Lawrence Co and later in 1879 he finally
settled in Pike Co. AR where I'm still searching his resting place.
There were 21 James Hamiltons who owned property in AR during the 1800s -
Little Rock/Hot Spring areas and White Co. areas. I KNOW James W. had
relatives in AR but who were they? He was fm CAMUS, tyrone county, IRL.
