With all this discussion of the Hamilton traits, I thought I'd add
mine.....most of the men in our family's last generations have died of heart
attacks.....all were fairly tall with the long second toe you have talked
about......I am at a brickwall with these Hamiltons......My ggrandfather was
Lemon Woods Hamilton, b 3/1/1850 in Winston Co. MS, lived most of life in
Tipton Co., TN and died in Gholson, TX on 5/14/1945......he was the son of
John Witherspoon Hamilton and Mary Elizabeth Jane White......there were 7
children of this union.......Lemon, William, Mary, Juliet Annette Jane,
Joseph and Mollie. John Witherspoon Hamilton was the son of _______Hamilton
and mary(Polly) Dearmond.......I have heard that John's father was one of 7
brothers that came over to America from either Scotland or
Ireland......cannot find anything on that.....any help would be
appreciated...thanks...Genie Hamilton Carroll
