Does anyone recognize this family. H E L P. Wondered if any of you LCT
Hamilton's recognized this family.

My ancestor was James Washington HAMILTON b 1862-1864. James also had a
twin brother named John. James mother's name was Sarah (last name is
possibly SMITH). We find his mother, Sarah, living with James three sisters
in the Searcy Co..... AR 1860 Census. HAMILTON, Sarah age 25 TN, Martha b.
1851, AR, Mary A or J b. 1856, AR, Mahala b. 1858, AR

Living next door is another HAMILTON--not sure if Sarah was md to another son
of this family. HAMILTON, James age 40 from IN, Sarah age 22 b. GA, Joseph
age 3 b. AR, John age 5/12 b. AR, David age 76 b. VA, Jessee age 40 b. TN.

In the 1850 Searcy Co. AR Census there is the same David HAMILTON listed:
HAMILTON, David age 64 from VA
Elizabeth age 50 from VA
Jessee age 31 from IN
James age 30 from IN
John C. age 28 from IN
Nathaniel age 26 from IN
Thomas B. age 24 from IN.

Then in the 1870 Searcy Co... AR Census Sarah is shown with another HAMILTON:
HAMILTON, John, 50 IL, Sarah J. , 34 TN, Martha E., 19, Mary J. 14, AR,
Mahala 12, AR, Sarah 13, AR, John C. 17, AR, Washington 8, AR, James 7, AR,
John 7, AR, Alex 5, Liley M. 3 AR (This is apparently another HAMILTON that
Sarah md, since in the next census these children are listed as step
children.)
