Most of us believe, but can't absolutely prove, that Sarah's father was
James M. Hamilton Sr., b.c 1775-80 SC by an unknown wife(wife MAY have been
a Bledsoe, but no hard evidence there either). James M. Sr. was likely dead
in LCT sometime after 1820 and before 1830; either that, or he moved on to
places unknown to us. I think, however, that he was dead by 1830; most of
his children stayed in LCT or the near vicinity for quite some time after
1850.

right. My grandmothers people came to KY via Tenn.
