I am thinking that there is a good chance that we are connected here.
However, your James M. Hamilton would, according to his age, have to be a
son of the man I call James M. Hamilton Jr. and the grandson of James M.
Hamilton Sr. b.c. 1775-80.

The names Christopher and Daniel, along with Jacob, tend to predominate in
parts of this family that I'm connected with. Do you have any guesses or
notions regarding the parents of your James M. Hamilton b.c.1845? Also, a
lot of the Hamiltons in LCT were settled in the vicinity of Kelly's Creek.
And some, including Daniel C. and Jacob, brothers to my Sarah Hamilton
Coats, were just over the line in Madison Co. AL.
Any of this sound plausible?

name is James M. Hamilton, born about 1845.He married Parthenia Payne in
Lincoln Co. Tn. in 1868. Their children were Christopher Columbus, William,
John, Daniel, Mary, & Vance. Do you think there could be a connection?
