Hi Sharon Hamilton Barricks-
I noted in your e-mail that you are researching Hamiltons in and
around Floyd Co Ky.
I descend from Colvins in the same area and have been searching for
some time for a Melvina Hamilton who married a Rice sometime in the
1850s, They had a daughter Josephine ( my grandmother) who married
Jehisa Colvin at age 15 in 1874.
Melvina later married Absalom Conley on 12 Jan 1861.
Is she included in any of your records?
Any help greatly appreciated.
