Thanks for responding! Not sure if any connections to my Hamiltons since I
do not know much about these ancestors before my paternal great grandfather,
WILLIAM ANDREW HAMILTON born in 1873. What I do know is that they
originated in East New Market, Dorchester Co. Maryland at least in 1830s with
John Hamilton and Susan Page. They had three KNOWN sons born
there....Charles who moved to Washington, DC; Davis(d?) who moved to Oxford,
Talbot Co. MD and MY PATERNAL GGF, WILLIAM ANDREW HAMILTON b:1/23/1873 who
married a Nancy Gootee of MD in MD and left MD for Beaver Falls, Beaver Co.
PA.
Don't know anything of John Hamilton or Susan Page's parentage or if the two
boys...Charles and Davis(d?) married, had children or moved beyond Washington
DC or Talbot county.
So hopefully, some of this may sound familiar to you. If not....sorry no
