May I ask you a question since you live in Canada maybe you can help me. I
have been looking for the location of Clifton Mt Royal, Canada. I am looking
for the family of George Hamilton b abt 1837 in Scotland and Mary V. Pierce b
1849 census says Canada/Fr. They had children
Agnes b. abt 1866 Canada
Richard b. abt. 1868 Canada
William b. abt 1870 Canada
Lydia Grace b. Aug 27, 1872 Clifton Mt Royal, Canada, From death cerf.
Roseann b abt 1875 Canada
Gordon G. b. abt 1877 Ill. I believe that he may have been born in Will Co.
Ill.
I know that William was in Ark when Lydia died in 1939, but I have been
unable to find any information on this family. I believe that if could find
where this Clifton Mt Royal is I might be able to find where to look for this
family. I am told that Roseann and Agnes never married. Lydia Grace married
Frank Jasper Clinton in 1892 in Joliet, Ill. That is about all I have been
able to find on this family. If you could give any information on this
location in Canada or if anyone out there knows anything about this family I
would like to hear from you. I have checked maps and have been unable to
locate this place in Canada.
