How's Fonthill? I grew up on Grand Island - just above the Falls. Used to
go to Fonthill for fruits and veggies with my great Auntie. Anyway, the
genealogy stuff - have you tried going to the Canadian Genweb and put
postings in the various provinces that apply?

There was a woman named Linda Harper that was looking for Hamilton's that
started out in Quebec (mid to late 1800's). Some of them ended up in the
Emo, Ontario area (Rainy River District). Give her a
try - you may have some common relatives!
