I am trying to confirm who my GGGrandfathers parents were.
I recieved info from a relative who believes our Dr. John. F. (Frank/Francis)
HAMILTON b. 1814 KY/VA is the son of John HAMILTON and Margaret Cander BASKIN
VA. I would greatly appreciate any info that might be in your book concerning
these people if they are found in it.
"Some Virginia Marriages 1800-1825", has a John HAMILTON and Peggy BASKINS m.
12 Mar 1807 VA.
Yesterday I found in early Missouri history book that had a John HAMILTON ,m
to Peggy C. BASKINS who settled in Calloway Co, MO in 1820 and had a son John
( John Sr was distantly related to Archibald HAMILTON who came from Northern
Ireland to Augusta,GAand settled in Calloway Co also) I am not sure what to
think about these names??
