Need a hand in from someone in the City of St.Louis. In 1850 & 1860 the
following family is in the Chillicothe area of Ross Co, OH.
James HAMILTON b 1803 Ireland
Rosanna (wife) b 1810 Ireland
issue: Adam, Robert, Eliza (md Wm Robinson), Jane (md John F. Rule),
Lillie, Sarah, and Margaret E. (Robert A. was born in Englan & all other
children were born in Ireland.

On 14 Oct 1872, there is filed in the Chillicothe, OH deed book the sale
of a lot in Chillicothe by Rosean, Wm., Adam, Robert, Wm Robinson and
Eliza his wife, John F. Rule and Jane his wife, Lillie D. Hamilton,
Sarah Hamilton,and Margaret E. Hamilton "all of the City of St.Louis"
and Ledden Davis and Mary Ann his wife of "the state of ILL"...ALL HEIRS
AT LAW of JAMES HAMILTON, deceased. I also have a naturalization paper
for James Hamilton dated 1861, in Ross Co, OH..I think this is the son,
James.

Can anyone check the 1870 or 1880 Census or check in the Court records
to see about probate/will for a James Hamilton who would have died about
1870-1872? Email me direct as I am not on this list..will pay for
