Seeking further info on Rebecca Hamilton info listed below. Missing death
date on Rebecca, also marriage date. Also need further info on her husband
Solomon Smith.

First Generation

1. Rebecca1 Hamilton (Thomas2), daughter of Thomas Hamilton
and Rebecca Mayo was born in Chatham, Mass. November 21, 1721.1

She married Solomon Smith date unknown in Chatham, Mass.2
Solomon was born circa 1720 in Chatham, Mass.3 He was the son
of David Smith and Sarah Higgins. Solomon died date unknown in
Barrington, at age unknown.4 Listed on Return of Inhabitants
and Stock in the Township of Barrington, 1 July 1762. 1770
census shows one man, two boys, one woman, and one girl; lived
Barrington Head before moving to Indian Brook, N.S.

Rebecca Hamilton and Solomon Smith had the following
children:

6 v. Barzillai Smith was born in Chatham, Mass..9
Married and lived at Port Saxon, N.S.10
7 vi. Solomon Smith was born in Chatham, Mass. August
4, 1745.11 He married Tabitha Crowell November
30, 1765 in Barrington, N.S., Canada.12
8 vii. Jonathan Smith was born in Chatham, Mass.
February 22, 1747.13 He married Abigail
Kendrick 1768.14
9 viii. Elisha Smith was born in Chatham, Mass. July 14,
1749.15 He married Desire Baker 1771.16 Lived
Indian Brook, N.S.
10 ix. Theodore Smith was born in Chatham, Mass. August
18, 1751.17 Theodore died August 12, 1843 in

probably Barrington Twp., N.S., at age 91.18 He
married Patience Crowell date unknown in
Unknown. During the Revolutionary War, he
suffered serious losses from the privateers.

Second Generation

11. Thomas2 Hamilton was born in Eastham, MA. September 1,
1695.19 Thomas died May 1, 1772 in Chatham, Mass., at age
76.20

He married Rebecca Mayo May 3, 1716 in Eastham, Mass.21

Thomas Hamilton and Rebecca Mayo had the following children:

17 vii. Jane Hamilton was born in Chatham, Mass. April
9, 1728.24 Jane died January 6, 1799 in Cape
Negro, N.S., Canada, at age 70.25 She married
Jonathan Smith November 9, 1752 in Chatham,
Mass.26 Jonathan was born circa 1720 in
Chatham, Mass.27 He was the son of David Smith
and Sarah Higgins. Jonathan died September 28,
1807 in Barrington, N.S., Canada, at age 87.28
18 viii. Zeuriah Hamilton was born 27 Apr 1731.
19 ix. Delilah Hamilton was born 28 Jun 1734.
20 x. Thomas Hamilton was born 14 Sep 1739.

21. Rebecca2 Mayo was born in Eastham April 1697.29
Rebecca died after April 9, 1772 in Chatham, Mass., at age
