Good afternoon. Please pardon the
unsolicited posting, but I recently
acquired the following I thought the
Hallock family membership might want
to know about. May I describe it as
follows:

HALLOCK, LUCIUS H. A Hallock Genealogy.
An Attempt to Tabulate and set in Order
the Numerous Descendants of Peter Hallock,
who landed at Southold, Long Island, N.Y.
about the year 1640, and Settled at
Aquebogue, near Mattituck. Orient, Long
Island, N.Y., [Privately printed], 1926.
Thick 8vo. Pp. 746, [7-blank leaves].
Frontis. portrait, numerous fullpage
plates (mainly portraits). Orig. dark
green cloth, spine printed in gilt,
front panel stamped in gilt and blind.
Very light external wear, otherwise a
fine copy of the first and only edition.
It is not indexed, but is organized in
a very straight-forward and understandable
way. Toedteberg, "Cat. of Amer. Genealogies
in the Long Island Historical Society",
#3083. $150.00

As this is very scarce, I must offer it
subject to prior sale. It is a very
fine copy though, and will not disappoint.
