Subject: Hacketts and Marker Connection

My extensive Hackett family starts with William Hackett who came to the US
from England in the late 1840's or about 1850. I periodically look for help
with two things.

First, I would like to learn more about William who was born in 1815 in
Burbage, Leicestershire, Central England, England. I very much want to find some
record of his immigration, even if just he specific year and port of entry.

Second, I would like to learn more about Williams connection to his wife
Claretta, sometimes called Mary Clara. I would very much like to find some
documentation of their connection to the rest of the Hackett family. I have
their wedding certificate. They were marred Oct. 21, 1844 in Jefferson Co. Ohio.
What I'd like to find is a copy of the notes that some referrer to that
indicate that Israel Marker's sister Mary (my Claretta I presume) married a
Hackett. The documents I'm looking for are sometimes referred to as the Darrell
Marker letter or a note from Bernice Phillips.
