Hello Kristen,

I live in RI and my great grandfather was William F. Hackett born in RI on April 24, 1877 and he was the son of Thomas and Margaret (Campbell) Hackett.

I have the "Orders For Interment" for the family and there is one that has some information that may be relevant to your search.
It mentions the name Dorothy M.McGuirk,who died on September 24, 1959 at 11 West Park Street at age fourty-seven. She was the daughter of Thomas Morris and Catherine Hackett and the owner of the grave is listed as Thomas Hackett, (my great-great grandfather). The burial was at St. Francis Cemetary in Pawt. RI, grave 113, section 5.

I do have lots of Info for the surname Hackett in RI including vital records and Providence City Directories (photo copies). I just checked my general interest/Hackett Surname Collection and found something of interest, James Hackett and Delia Downey were married in RI on Nov. 28, 1858

Let me know if you find a connection or would like some other information on the surname Hackett living in RI.
