THE IRISH HACKETT NAME CAME TO IRELAND A BIT EARLIER THAN THE REPORTED 13TH CENTURY. HACKETT WARRIORS CAME TO IRELAND SWINGING A BROADAX WITH STRONGBOW ABOUT 1066, FROM NORMANDY. NO NORMANDY WAS NOT APART OF FRANCE UNTIL AFTER THE HACKETTS HAD THE GOOD SENSE TO LEAVE! :)
