The Hacketts related to my family are from New Hampshire. My great-grandfather, Joseph P. Hackett and his father Chase Hackett moved to Illinois together after 1860. Chase is the son of Major Chase Taylor who fought in the Revolutionary war. Joseph married my great-grandmother, Kate Killian in 1874 in Bloomington. William H. Hackett was their youngest child and fought in WWI, but I'm trying to find out about his post-war life.
