Hello John! I visited a website (don't remember which) that listed what castles and stately homes were connected genealogically to surnames and the Hackett name belongs to Shelton Abbey in Wicklow, Ireland. It is currently a prison.

This was the ancestral home of the Howard family, the Earls of Wicklow. I am still researching this, as I am unsure of how the Hacketts are linked to this home. The website I initially found this on had no information, just a link of the names. I'm not turning anything up on Google. When and if I find any other information, I'll post it here.
