You didn't post any other names/dates/places so it will be hard for people to help you. The only Virgil I can find was born in 1918 in MO and died in 1999 TX.

If you don't have anyother information a good starting point would be Ohio and further back, Virginia as alot of Hacketts in that area came in thru Virginia in the 1700's and progressed west into Ohio and Missouri as the frontier opened up,
