Researching Jacob Hackett, a Blacksmith, Quaker who married Elizabeth Moore in 1803 near Hackettstown, NJ. This family had five children before 1812, when the family moved to Ontario Canada (possibly to escape taxation and war charges assessed on Quakers) The children include: Samuel, b.April 14, 1805; John, b.July 5, 1806; Isaac, b.1808 (died an infant); Elizabeth, b.Aug.1, 1809; Abraham, b.Sept. 30,1811. Elizabeth's parents (also Quakers) moved to Canada with Jacob. Her father was Johnny Moore (The weaver). Any help greatly appreciated.
