Unfortunately I can tell you very littee about your Almeron Hackett, other that he may be the father of a George Hackett whoo lived in Wisconsin for a time and then moved to South Dakota.

My Almaron was married to a Maria who was born in England and lived with him in South Superior and then Middleton, Wisconsin. His children were Alice born about 1855, Henry born about 1846 and Lucy born about 1848. Lucy may have married a Sanford in the Dane, Wisconsin area in about 1868 and then the family disappears in about 1871 and Alice is living with the Reed family in Buena Vista, Wisconsin.
