Hello Andrea, I am the daughter of this Richard (Dick) Hackett. I was told that he had traced it back to Ireland from Cork County. I don't know if this is verified but are you a relative of mine? Sounds like you are a distant cousin. Richard Hackett will be 75 in May. My grandmother was Dorothy Carroll. Hope we can connect.
