I have a obit from 1898
For Private Eugene Hackett
Eugene died in 1898 of Typhoid. Also lists his father as Sumner Hackett who died before him.
Eugene had a sister Edna C. Hackett
Sumner had a brother Moses Hackett.

Sumner and his wife are buried in Mechanic Falls Maine
Eugene also attended Univeristy of Maine before entering Co. H. Rockland First Maine Regiment volunteers.
Eugene died at the age of 20.
He lived in Caribou. Maine

I have the complete obit if anyone would like a copy.
No name of newspaper on clipping though.

Also a small article of Mrs. Arthur Stevens and Miss Winnie Hacket of Lewiston were called to this place by the death of there brother Herbert Hackett, who died in Presque Isle Sanatorium. He was taken there from Fairfield a few weeks ago.

He must be related to the others mention.
