Dear Listers,

Rachel Emma is my one and only HACKETT ancestor -- that is, I don't know her
parents' names and I don't know if she had any siblings. She was married to
John Quincy ADAMS in Pittsburgh, PA on 8 May 1867 by Rev. W. S. Grey.

Rachel Emma was born 19 July 1850 (just after the 1850 census), probably in
Pennsylvania. I have been unable to find her in the 1860 census. Her parents
were probably born in New York. Her mother's maiden name may have been STUTZ.
Rachel Emma died 3 Oct 1928 in Lincoln, ME and is buried in the Lincoln Center
cemetery.

I would like to know Rachel Emma's ancestry. She was NOT the Rachel HACKETT
who was born in Tioga County, PA in 1851, daughter of Elmer and Harriet
(Robinson) Hackett. If any of your 19th century Hacketts had a daughter named Rachel
or Emma or Rachel Emma who was born in 1850, I'd like to hear from you.
