Whitaker W. Hackett (1/11/1835 - 2/2/1920) was the son of Albert Hackett (ca 1809 - 4/29/1870) and Catherine Smith, (10/15/1810 - 9/25/1857); the son of Robert Hackett (1782 - 12/8/1832). I have never seen Whitaker as Whitaker Thomas, only as Whitaker W., which is the way it is on his headstone.
