Andrea, no, the name does not mean anything to me; but remember, the original Valentine Hackett lived about 1700. If your line is descended from him, it is a long long time ago. I am not going to know anything about recent Hacketts in your family or other surnames (in the 1800s and 1900s).
Could you please join the Hacket listserve/mailing list??
